Stakeholder Coaching
For supervisors in ABA, practicum supervision can be such a rewarding and exciting endeavor! And, boy can it be overwhelming! Where does one start? How do you ensure you’re addressing all the skills, giving a balanced and comprehensive experience to your future behavior analyst?
This project is part of a curriculum of projects where I've taken the entire Task List (V6) and broken it down in practical, do-able learning opportunities, with differentiated instruction (Basic, Moderate, and Advanced learning levels). Each project in the curriculum includes a breakdown to the Task List items and soft skills the project is likely to cover; a scoring sheet for all related skills in the project; and a progress tracking page.
Stakeholder Coaching: As behavior analysts, we constantly consider how to put ourselves out of a job. How do we ensure that our clients and their families have the skill necessary to maintain behavior growth and grow more skills on their own in the future? Often, the answer is stakeholder coaching! Practicum students need the opportunity to shape the behavior of stakeholders in an effort to support this goal, so this project provisions that opportunity.
