Skills Assessment
For supervisors in ABA, practicum supervision can be such a rewarding and exciting endeavor! And, boy can it be overwhelming! Where does one start? How do you ensure you’re addressing all the skills, giving a balanced and comprehensive experience to your future behavior analyst?
This project is part of a curriculum of projects where I've taken the entire Task List (V6) and broken it down in practical, do-able learning opportunities, with differentiated instruction (Basic, Moderate, and Advanced learning levels). Each project in the curriculum includes a breakdown to the Task List items and soft skills the project is likely to cover; a scoring sheet for all related skills in the project; and a progress tracking page.
Skills Assessment: Beside behavior reduction, a primary objective for behavior intervention is to pave a route for socially relevant, valid behavior acquisition. Skills assessments open the door for this; this project scopes out using a variety of assessment tools, reporting their results, and selecting relevant goals from both tools and interviews with stakeholders.
