Progress Reports and Discharge Plans
For supervisors in ABA, practicum supervision can be such a rewarding and exciting endeavor! And, boy can it be overwhelming! Where does one start? How do you ensure you’re addressing all the skills, giving a balanced and comprehensive experience to your future behavior analyst?
This project is part of a curriculum of projects where I've taken the entire Task List (V6) and broken it down in practical, do-able learning opportunities, with differentiated instruction (Basic, Moderate, and Advanced learning levels). Each project in the curriculum includes a breakdown to the Task List items and soft skills the project is likely to cover; a scoring sheet for all related skills in the project; and a progress tracking page.
Progress Reports and Discharge Plans: The inevitable goal of any behavior plan is to stop the need for intensive supports and set the learner (and family) up for success in our absence. Practicum students need to learn how to report progress towards this goal, as well as make recommendations for what to do after ABA services end. Those goals are addressed here.
